Frequently asked questions
Can we do the survey ourselves?
Yes. With the Lumedora Audit app, your facility management or service provider records luminaires, rooms and emergency lighting on the floor plan. Lumedora Advisory is optional if you prefer to hand over the survey.
Is a lux measurement with a smartphone sufficient?
For a first orientation, yes. A standards-compliant proof of illuminance according to DIN EN 12464-1 requires a calibrated meter. The app records which method was used.
How long does a survey take?
As a guide: an office floor with 100 to 150 luminaires in about half a day. Duration depends on access, floor plans and the number of room types.
Does Lumedora replace the BREEAM assessor?
No. Lumedora provides inventory data, measures and proof in a form that assessors and auditors can use. Assessment and certification remain with the accredited bodies.
Where is our data stored and who has access?
Hosting in the EU, tenant separation per customer, roles and permissions per user. Your data remains your data and can be exported at any time.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Customer data is not used to train AI models. AI functions in the portal are labelled as such and serve as decision support.
What is Lumedora White Label?
The Lumedora Portal under your brand: your logo, primary colour and sender in reports and e-mails. For planning offices, FM providers and energy consultants who manage their customers as tenants.
Do we have to buy material via Lumedora procurement?
No. Procurement is voluntary and not a prerequisite for advisory or the portal. If Ensolia receives remuneration from third parties, we disclose type and amount before your decision.
Does Ensolia install the luminaires?
No. Ensolia does not carry out electrical or installation work. Project partners with installation or your electrical contractor deliver the works; on request we tender manufacturer-neutral.
What does the quick check cost?
The quick check is an initial conversation of about 30 minutes without charge. Afterwards you receive an assessment and an offer for the next steps.
